• Snacks are welcome — please clean up any crumbs and trash before leaving.
• Clean up any spills or messes immediately.

• Trash goes in the trash can — not left on chairs or floors.
• Studio doors stay closed during class — no peeking in or opening doors.
• No taking pictures or videos of dancers through the doors while they are in class.
• If sitting on the floor, keep a clear pathway in the lobby so people can safely walk through.

• Children in Foundation Level classes MUST be accompanied by an adult in the lobby.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for their child's behavior while waiting.

• A lost and found box is located in the lobby. Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the season.
• SESD is not responsible for items left unattended. We recommend labeling everything with your dancer's full name or initials, and leaving valuables at home.

• Dancers in Foundation Level classes (ages 4.9 and below) must have a parent/guardian remain in the lobby during class. Staff are not permitted to accompany students to the bathroom. Dancers in Introduction Level and up (ages 5+) are expected to use the bathroom independently.

• No running, jumping, or cartwheels in the lobby.
• No climbing on or hiding under lobby furniture.
• No tumbling, dancing, or practicing skills outside of the studio rooms.
• Keep bags and belongings in cubbies — nothing on the floor where people can trip.
• Please do not wear dance shoes outside. Dancers should wear street shoes (or carry the little ones) and change into dance shoes once inside.

• Use indoor voices.
• No chasing or rough-housing.
• Phones and tablets must be kept at a low volume — headphones are strongly encouraged.

• Only water bottles are allowed inside the studio. All other drinks must stay in the lobby.
• Foundation Level dancers may have water bottles in the lobby with their parent/guardian.
• Introduction Level and up are encouraged to bring their water bottle into the studio.
• Absolutely no food, non-water drinks, or gum are permitted on the dance floors.

• Under NO circumstances should anyone play on, pull out, or sit on the Acro equipment, ballet barres, or any other studio property.
• Any damage to SESD property due to negligence or horseplay will be the parent's financial responsibility.
• Parents are not allowed to enter the studios unless given permission by SESD staff.
