Southeast School of Dance is excited to introduce Senior Stretch and Move, a new fitness class designed specifically for older adults looking to improve strength, mobility, and flexibility in a welcoming, supportive environment. Led by studio owner and instructor Ms. Sidney, this class offers a gentle yet effective approach to movement that meets participants where they are.
Senior Stretch and Move is currently being offered as a pop-up class at our studio in Climax, NC, conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from Greensboro. We would love to see this class become a permanent part of our schedule, if our community agrees. Come try it out and let us know what you think!

Let's move and groove togther! Join our Senior Stretch & Move Fitness Class on August 14th. Class will take place from 9:15 am - 10 am and cost $10 that is to be paid by cash only at the door. Chair Modification's will be available.

What fitness level or stamina do I need to participate in Senior Stretch and Move?
No specific fitness level is required. Senior Stretch and Move is a low impact class open to all ability levels. Participants should be cleared for and able to participate in active movement. Chair modifications are available for anyone who needs them.
How long is the Senior Stretch and Move class?
Class runs 45 minutes.
How do I sign up for Senior Stretch and Move at Southeast School of Dance?
No sign up is required. Senior Stretch and Move is drop-in only — just come on in when you are ready.
How do I pay for class?
Class is $10 per session, paid by cash at the door.
What do I need to bring to Senior Stretch and Move class?
Southeast School of Dance provides all equipment at the studio. If you prefer to bring your own you are welcome to do so.
What kind of shoes should I wear to class?
Clean tennis shoes are recommended for Senior Stretch and Move.
